David Perlick-Molinari
Founder, Chief Creative Officer, Composer/Producer
Pronouns He/Him/His
YouTooCanWoo was born, believe it or not, all the way back in middle school, thanks to a piece of music inspired by a crush. Thank you, crush! The name itself became a kind of mantra; it served as a reminder to approach things from a place of positivity and abundance, rather than insecurity and fear.

David’s complete approach to audio embodies the YouTooCanWoo energy. He brings an understanding of sound at its foundation, plus(!) The Woo Factor, to all that he does, from musical composition to mix engineering and sound design. Building on a childhood passion of writing music and recording technology, David studied Music Theory and Composition at New York University. He kicked off his career by founding the musical group, French Horn Rebellion, with his brother, Robert. Not long after, he produced MGMT’s debut EP, Time to Pretend. Ever the go-getter, David further expanded his expertise to include work-to-picture—music, in collaboration with visuals—that serve to tell a story. His portfolio includes the audio branding of Peacock, Paramount+, MTV, Spotify, and ABC, commercial work for Apple, Google, and Nike, the Cinema Eye Honors-nominated score and sound design for an official SXSW Film Festival Selection, Mateo. Beyond this, he’s toured the world and writes, records, produces, and performs with musical groups inside his studio’s label of emerging artists.
